The key to success is in the ratios. For every cup of all-purpose flour, you’ll want to use 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. As for the chocolate chips, I like to use the mini ones so that there’s chocolate in every bite. But feel free to use regular-sized chips if that’s what you have on hand. I also like to add a tablespoon or two of instant coffee granules to really bring out the chocolate flavor, but that’s entirely optional.
Once you have your ingredients gathered, simply mix everything together in a large bowl. Then scoop the dough by the tablespoon onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden brown and set.

- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup evaporated milk

To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, in a large bowl, mash together two ripe bananas. Add in 1/3 cup of melted butter and 1 cup of sugar. Stir until well combined. Next, add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until everything is thoroughly combined.
